Catalog description

Students in this course will learn about the prevalence of substance use disorders (SUDs) and comorbid conditions in population-representative, community, and clinical samples. Students also will learn about biopsychosocial correlates of SUDS as well as a wide variety of evidence-based treatment approaches for SUDs including harm reduction approaches, motivational interviewing approaches, and community-based approaches.
