The relevance of virtue (i.e., character formation, the good life, and the like) to ethical theory (as opposed to ethical theory which focuses exclusively on duty or utility); and the concrete ways that ethical theory expresses the ideas and ideals of particular cultures. Same as CUOT 1012.
