Possible topics may include elements of ergodic theory, invariant measures and sets, ergodicity, ergodic theorems, mixing, spectral theory. Applications of dynamical systems to number theory, celestial mechanics, chaos, and fractals. Prerequisite(s): graduate standing or permission of department.
