Catalog description
This course introduces students to how machine learning (ML) is transforming strategic decision-making and driving value in both established companies and emerging ventures. In addition to gaining fluency in foundational algorithms, from regression and classification to clustering and decision trees, students will engage with real-world applications and programming exercises. Students will also delve into the ethical, legal, and operational concerns of harnessing AI at scale. Prerequisite(s): IDS 5420 .
