Catalog description

This course introduces the foundational principles and applications of People Analytics and data-driven decision-making across the HR lifecycle. Students will explore how analytical methods and technologies, including statistical modeling, machine learning, and HR data management, can guide strategic hiring, predict retention risks, and boost employee engagement. Emphasis is placed on leveraging such tools to inform strategic decisions around hiring, talent management, and job design. Through hands-on exercises, students will learn how to gather, analyze, and interpret HR data, ensuring both ethical considerations and compliance to drive organizational performance. Prerequisite(s): IDS 5420 and MAN 5604 .
