This course will teach you the law of e-discovery, practical best practices and provide exposure to the technology behind it all. You'll learn how your computer works, and why it's so hard to truly delete anything. Even if you're a technophobe, the technology aspect of the course should not overwhelm you, you will learn what a lawyer needs to know. The focus will be on making you competent as to the legal obligations of e-discovery. The course will include speakers on various e-discovery topics and provide tips (and mentoring) on how to launch a career involving e-discovery.
