Catalog description
This course covers the constitutional regulation of the criminal trial process. Topics include prosecutorial discretion, charging methods, discovery, the right to counsel, plea bargains, waivers of trial rights, confrontation of witnesses, joinder and severance of charges and parties, double jeopardy, and post-conviction review procedures. Please note that Criminal Procedure is not a prerequisite. Tested on the Bar Exam.
