Lawyering in DC

Catalog description

Lawyering in DC is a week-long program designed to expose students to the wide range of legal careers possible in Washington, DC and to position them for success in those fields. The program features short class sessions coupled with visits to dozens of attorneys and government officials in federal agencies, legislative offices, law firms, nonprofits, private entities, and advocacy organizations of all ideological stripes. We also attend oral argument at either the Supreme Court or the D.C. Circuit and meet with a judge, and we host a panel of DC-based alumni. Registration is by application only and enrollment is limited.
