Experiential Halakha: Becoming a Sofer STa'M

A Sofer (Jewish scribe) must be both skilled and learned in the art of writing kosher Sifrei Torah, Tefillin, Mezuzot, and Megillot (STa"M). We will learn the practical hands on methods of cutting and writing with quills on parchment, as well as the laws guiding the production of kosher STa"M, as well as checking and correcting them.
