The role and rule of Jewish Law as it relates to the basic principals and practices of government and governmental institutions in regulating individual and societal behavior and promoting the social welfare and civil rights of its citizens. We shall consider who governs, who chooses those who govern and the limitations of power according to Jewish tradition.
