Science and Religion

Catalog description

This course will explore the relationship between science and religion. More specifically it will focus on tensions and symbiosis between these fields and how Judaism has addressed them. Topics include creation, when halacha and science conflict, changing realities, philosophy of scientific advancement and hashgacha, technology and Jewish law, social sciences and halacha.
