Catalog description

This history course will explore and explicate the emergence of different sects within the Judaism. This will cover ethnic groups such as Sefard, Ashkenaz, Romaniyot and their halachic and philosophical differences. Sectarians such as Sabbatians, Donmeh and Frankists. Also religious movements such as Chassidism, Mussar, Reform and Conservative movements, and political movements such as Zionism and the Bund.
