Hebrew Level I

Catalog description

The course is designed to introduce students to the foundations of Hebrew grammar and to a basic vocabulary that they will use to develop the ability to understand simple oral and written conversations and short stories, and to produce simple, well-built functional sentences in Hebrew. A variety of Jewish resources will be used to enhance students- development of Hebrew language skills as well as their understanding of the major role Hebrew plays in Jewish culture.
