Features and characteristics of available investment opportunities; fundamental principles for choosing sound investment vehicles to meet investor risk/return objectives. Stocks, bonds, warrants, convertibles, preferreds, municipal bonds, treasuries, options, and futures are defined and analyzed. Prerequisite(s): FIN 1001 , IDS 1131 and IDS 1020 ; and ACC 1002 may be taken as prerequisite or corequisite.
