Introduces the terminology and principles necessary to be successful in the fashion business through a dynamic lecture and workshop-based format. Students study fashion classifications, garment detail and construction, sources of fashion information, and the modern history of fashion. Students will learn the scope and global nature of the fashion business through the use of industry research, case studies and hands-on projects. Crosslisted with MAR 3500 .
