This course will introduce students to the world of entrepreneurship by exploring how businesses are conceived, and the process entrepreneurs go through from having an idea to starting and building their own business: from choosing a field, to creating a name, to getting set up, raising money, dealing with competition, pricing the product or service, marketing, hiring people, and much more. We will bring the class alive by discussing case studies of real companies, successful ones and not so successful ones.
