Writing Fiction

Catalog description

A creative writing course introducing students to the writing of fiction. Students read examples from short stories and novels, learn about the elements of plot, character development and setting, and write and revise their own stories. Set up as a writing workshop, the course enables students to regularly share their work with their teacher and their peers. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1100 or ENGL 1200 .
