Catalog description
An investigation of Shakespeare's settings as dramatic landscapes, regions of cultural contact, and contested or colonized national spaces. Special emphasis on how such settings inform our sense for the imaginative resources of the early modern stage and illuminate England's place within a shifting and increasingly permeable European world-system. Prerequisite(s): FYWR 1020 or BUS 1010 .
