Doctoral Research and Preparation Seminar

Catalog description

In this two semester course students will be introduced to the various formats that dissertations may take (e.g., Action Research, Case Studies, Humanities-styled, etc.) and shepherded through the early stages of articulating a research idea, developing a proposal, and establishing a firm methodological foundation therefore. Students will also be instructed about expectations regarding writing style and dissertation formatting and, where necessary, provided with appropriate scaffolding.
