Catalog description

This course addresses the issues facing the graduate clinician in their practicum sites, as they embark on evaluation and remediation of disorders affecting communication. Skills needed for rehabilitation settings, populations, and age of the client will be addressed, as well as interaction with the health care team. Professional and ethical responsibilities will be a central focus of the course.
