Business Internship

Catalog description

Supervised work experience that permits students to apply classroom knowledge. Work assignments must be meaningful and must be approved prior to commencing internship. Each student is required to write a paper about the internship experience. Students supervisor is required to submit a final evaluation report upon completion of internship. A maximum of 3 internship credits may be applied to the major; 100 hours of internship is equivalent to 1 credit. Prerequisite(s): junior standing in Sy Syms School.
