Catalog description

How are faith, doubt, and salvation expressed in the Tanakh / Hebrew Bible? How is the concept of suffering and divine providence addressed in the Book of Job? How do the Psalms offer salvation? How are these key biblical religious themes interpreted by Jewish commentators? Answering these questions will offer insight into the Jewish perspective on the Bible, the role it plays in Jewish faith and practice, and how Judaism and Christianity might come to a better mutual understanding through their shared sacred scriptures.
