Readings in Biblical Hebrew

Catalog description

This course begins by completing the study of the first year of Biblical Hebrew grammar. The course will then focus on consolidating this knowledge by reading the books of Ruth and Jonah in the original Hebrew. Work will focus on parsing verbs, analyzing nouns and other parts of speech, and studying the syntax of standard Biblical Hebrew prose. Prerequisite(s): BIB 5202 .
