Introduction of basic acrylic painting techniques. Fundamental concepts and skills including color mixing, use of tools and media, rendering form, spatial relationships and composition will be covered through a variety of projects, primarily from the still life. Foundations level course to be taken early in the Studio Art sequence. Required for Studio Art majors.
