Catalog description
This course introduces how organizations capture, structure, and operationalize knowledge to support AI systems. Students examine how enterprise intelligence architectures store and transmit expertise and how well-designed knowledgebases become a durable competitive advantage for both established companies and AI-native startups .The course emphasizes scalable knowledge design, including the use of prompts, templates, grounding files, and retrieval workflows that enable AI systems to produce consistent and reliable outputs. Students evaluate knowledge quality using quantitative metrics such as accuracy, relevance, and drift, and learn how governance structures sustain reliability as knowledge systems scale. By the end of the course, students design a working enterprise intelligence framework that supports decision-making, reduces variance in human capability, and integrates effectively with AI-enabled workflows.
