Yeshiva University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
This course examines how AI transforms markets, industries, organizations, and the structure of work. Students explore the mechanisms through which intelligent systems create shifts in value, alter competitive dynamics, and reshape organizational capabilities. The course analyzes how technological change disrupts existing roles, workflows, and business models, and how leaders can interpret early signals of transition toward greater automation and autonomy. Emphasis is placed on understanding how organizations adapt, where new capability gaps emerge, and how strategy, governance, and workforce design must evolve in response. Through case studies and structured analysis, students evaluate different paths for navigating disruption and develop strategic recommendations for organizations adjusting to AI-driven change.
