Catalog description
The course will provide a working, business-level grounding in landscape and applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML). Students will develop a structured approach to analyzing the strategic, functional, business, and ethical impacts of AIML in various fields such as finance, healthcare, biotech, cybersecurity, marketing and social media, climate, energy, sustainability, food, and more. As a final project, students will work in small teams to proposal a framework for novel AIM technology and then develop a case. More technical teams or students have the option to build a proof of concept system with permission of the instructor.
