Catalog description

The Drug Action courses are designed to address the fundamental aspects of drug action in the context of specific disease states and physiological systems. Each Drug Action course is designed to teach students the fundamental aspects of drug action with regard to physiochemical drug properties, structure-activity relationships, cellular signaling processes, pharmacologic sites of action, drug metabolism, toxicity, and therapeutic indications. Drug Action-Cardiovascular: Focuses on the physiochemical, pharmacodynamic, and pharmacokinetic properties of drugs which are typically used in the management of cardiovascular disease states.
