Catalog description
This seminar type course will expose students to various aspects of the practice of public health and public health current issues. This course will introduce a number of central concepts and explore key and controversial issues related to public health using case studies. Topics covered include the nature of public health ethics, the concepts of disease and prevention, risk and precaution, health inequalities and justice, screening, vaccination and disease control.
