This course is an introductory survey of modern machine learning algorithms that learn from data. Machine learning has been a key component in a number of application domains of data science, including text mining, computer vision, natural language processing, bioinformatics and robotics. This course will introduce the fundamental concepts and algorithms in machine learning as well as best practices in applying machine learning to practical problems.
