Catalog description

This course will provide an overview of fundamental principles of medicinal chemistry including drug development, drug design, lead compound discovery, and drug synthesis. Emphasis will be placed on the chemical reactions and mechanisms involved. An overview of drug classes and mechanisms of activity will be included.
