Bioinformatics Capstone I

Catalog description

First semester of independent work by students under the guidance of a faculty member. This course will require students to choose a project that requires the implementation of bioinformatics software, pipelines, frameworks, or procedures to address important problems at the intersection of biology and computer science. For the first semester, the capstone course will focus on project selection, project design, and acquiring preliminary data/results.
