This course introduces students to the techniques, processes and methods of the costume designer. Students will develop skills in play analysis for costuming, basic rendering skills, and period research. Students will develop costume plots and breakdowns, do clothing and design research, draw and paint costume sketches, and swatch them with fabric ideas. College of Arts & Sciences Theatre
