Lighting Design

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the techniques, processes and methods of the lighting design process. Primary attention will be given to the following four areas: the tools and materials of the lighting designer, the history of theatrical lighting design, the theories and principles of lighting design, and the physical lighting design, plot and paperwork. Prerequisites: THTR100 and THTR150 College of Arts & Sciences Theatre
