Catalog description
This course is a mandatory reflection, research, and integration course for all graduating Seniors who major in Theology (all concentrations) to fulfill the requirements for BA in Theology. In this course, Theology majors who are in their Senior year will work under direct supervision and mentorship of a principal faculty member in the Department of Theology to complete a research and reflection project on the topic of their choice. Students will integrate their knowledge of the field of theological studies by focusing on a topic of their interest, with the approval of the supervising faculty member, and will produce a final integrative paper at the conclusion of the semester. The faculty will assess the required final paper in accordance with the standard grading scale of the Department of Theology. Faculty will work with each Theology major on an individual basis to discern the topic of interest for the Senior Project and will determine the parameters of the final integrative paper. A letter grade will be assigned upon the conclusion of the course. Prerequisites: THEO111 and THEO295 and THEO303 and ( THEO209 or THEO210) and ( THEO328 or THEO351) Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Majors: Theology Must be enrolled in one of the following Classifications: Senior College of Arts & Sciences Theology
