Catalog description

SPAN323 is an advanced Spanish course for students who have taken SPAN300/SPAN301 and another advanced Spanish course in the 302-310 range. This class will examine a specific theme such as immigration, racism, nationalism, feminism, and social media (among other possibilities) in Spanish-speaking cultures and contexts around the world. The unique relevance of that semester\00B4s individual theme to the Spanish-speaking world will be made clear, as the term itself (\201Cnationalism,\201D for example) will be defined at the beginning of the course. . Prerequisites: SPAN300 or SPAN301 College of Arts & Sciences Classics & Modern Languages
