Catalog description

This is a third-year language development course for majors, minors, and for students wishing to continue their Spanish studies at a higher level. In this course students will work toward increasing your Spanish proficiency and develop written and oral skills that prepare them to use Spanish professionally in the U.S. and abroad. The course explores cultural, professional, and linguistic topics that are fundamental to interact with native and bilingual Spanish speakers in the workplace. The course also addresses the development of transcultural competence by building self-awareness of cultural perspectives to better understand others\2019 cultural practices, products, and perspectives.
