Catalog description

This seminar course provides the student an opportunity to discuss and analyze the knowledge, values and skills acquired in the classroom with the real life practice experiences gained in field. Students will conduct an analysis of their field agency, present findings in class and learn about a wide variety of social work settings. Student will also have an opportunity to explore and resolve an ethical dilemma in their practice and present the outcome of the situation. The course will increase the student\2019s awareness and understanding of both their personal and professional selves within their role as a social work student and soon to be professional social worker through the use of reflection and discernment. Co-requisites: SOCW417 College of Health and Human Sciences Social Work
