This course provides an introduction to the basic theories, concepts, values, and skills associated with generalist social work practice at the micro level including: roles and functions of social workers; theoretical frameworks for practice; communication and helping skills; and application of a planned change process. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Majors: Social Work College of Health and Human Sciences Social Work
