An examination of the use of compensation and benefits systems to attract, retain, motivate, and reward employees. Topics include compensation system design, strategies to ensure a system that is internally consistent and externally competitive, challenges in compensating special employee groups, employee benefits, and the legal context. Prerequisites: MGMT200 or SHRM300 or SHRM200 Williams College of Business Mgmt, Entrepreneurship & HR
