Catalog description

Students become familiar with the theory, research, and practice of various assessment methods used with older adults. This course exposes students to common clinical assessment issues with this population (e.g., what factors need to be ruled out, and how to go about an assessment to answer specific referral questions). Students write several assessment reports based upon case vignettes, in which they integrate bio-psycho-social assessment evidence. Prerequisites: PSYC651 Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate Must be enrolled in one of the following Majors: Clinical Psychology Psychology College of Health and Human Sciences School of Psychology
