Catalog description

This course examines the bridge between psychology and the law, emphasizing the forensic psychologist’s role in the legal system. Attention is given to developing a foundation in forensic knowledge, skills, and attitude for professional psychologists. Forensic issues including assessment and intervention strategies, consultation, interdisciplinary forensic problem-solving, courtroom testimony, and ethics are emphasized. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate Must be enrolled in one of the following Majors: Clinical Psychology Psychology College of Health and Human Sciences School of Psychology
