This course offers an exploration of the intersection between psychology and politics, providing a comprehensive understanding of human behaviors and mental processes within political contexts. This course will help students understand how political forces influence many aspects of our daily lives, from public choices to social interactions. We will explore the psychological foundations of political opinions, behaviors, and attitudes by investigating how psychological factors\2014such as cognitive biases, emotions, social identity, values and beliefs, and personal experiences\2014interact with socio-environmental and economic influences to shape them.
