Catalog description
This course explores A.C. and D.C. circuits through a rigorous and comprehensive math-based analysis of circuits constructed from resistors, capacitors, and inductors. Standard methods of analysis such as: i) Kirchhoffs rules; ii) node voltages; iii) equivalent resistance, capacitance, and inductance; and iv) Thevenin\2019s and Norton\2019s theorems are introduced. Strong emphasis is placed on the application of these methods toward the analysis of analog circuits.
