Catalog description

Focus on environmental and contextual influences on occupational performance. Describes impact of legislation and public policy on architectural, physical, and attitudinal barriers to participation. Application of evidence-based environmental modifications, universal design, accessible design and ergonomics to eliminate barriers and enhance the occupational performance and participation of individuals and groups at home, work and in the community. Includes introduction to vocational and industrial rehabilitation. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: Occupational Therapy Doctorate Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Health and Human Sciences Occupational Therapy
