Catalog description

This foundational course will introduce the Occupational Therapy Doctoral student to the structure, organization and function of the human nervous system. An integrated approach will be utilized to explore the neuroanatomy and physiology of systems and relate pathophysiology to human function with clinical relevance to occupational performance. Students will develop knowledge and competence applying neuroscience principles to disorders of the nervous system as a foundation for clinical reasoning in later coursework.
