Scholarly Project

Catalog description

This course culminates in the development of a scholarly project that addresses a phenomenon, issue, or problem within the nursing discipline. Students have flexibility in how they demonstrate the comprehensive and scholarly nature of their final product. Possible options include proposing or conducting a research study or quality improvement project; designing an innovative solution to a care delivery problem; developing strategies to improve patient care outcomes; creating a potentially fundable health-related proposal; or formulating a business plan. The capstone project serves as a synthesis and integration of all prior graduate coursework. Prerequisites: NURS780 and NURS783 Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Nursing Nursing
