Catalog description

The fifth and final clinical practicum course focuses on the clinical application of the companion didactic course and previous core courses including the application of supportive psychodynamic principles, and other evidence-based therapies to brief and long-term care across the life span. Incorporates safe prescribing practices for individuals with psychiatric/mental health disorders across the lifespan. Demonstrates increased independence in the evaluation and management of psychiatric mental health patients/families in this culminating clinical practice immersion.
