Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with the basic foundational principles of psychopharmacology. Exploring the neurobiological basis of psychiatric mental health disorders and understanding the pharmacological treatment of these disorders is essential to effective treatment. The importance of psychopharmacology as part of the treatment of psychiatric mental health disorders and how medication serves as an adjunct to psychotherapy is analyzed. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Nursing Nursing
