Catalog description

The focus of this course is to prepare holistic nurse leaders to analyze current and emerging technologies within a microsystem and mesosystem that support safe practice environments, optimize patient safety, reduce risk and promote desired clinical outcomes. Integrate administrative decision making within an informatics systems lifecycle model. Technology policies and procedures that incorporate ethical, administrative and complexity principles for regulatory, accreditation and payer requirements will be critiqued. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Nursing Nursing
